Dream Cut - Manual Embossing & Die Cutting Machine

Hello friends,

This is Tanvi & I am here with a very special product today - the newly launched DREAM CUT, the first die cutting machine brought to you by an Indian company!

I have been playing around with this for a few days now & am loving its sleek & compact design & let me tell you it is compatible with most dies! Isn't that wonderful!

Some distinct features of the Dream Cut
  1. Body is made up of high impact Polymer with smooth edges for easy handling.
  2.  The platform & the frame is made of high quality, non – corrosive Alloy.
  3. The cog wheels ( gears ) are made of high speed steel for durability & rough use.
  4. The gear tips are smoothened to give excellent user experience.
  5. The Roller diameter is larger than many other standard machines to increase the point of contact with the cutting die which enables to get a superior cut quality.
  6.  Roller mounts are designed to give a bit of cushion which helps in proper pressure distribution on the cutting die.
  7. High precision in the Casting & Assembly of this unit will last a long time compared to other machines.
  8. The cutting plates are made of moulded Acrylic which has self-healing properties compared to Acrylic sheets which are used in other machines.
  9.  The Bevelled edges of the cutting plates is a great feature which puts slow pressure on the Rollers & really gives you a Dream Cut experience!
  10. This machine is designed for crafters & promises to give an ultimate user experience!
  11. Spare parts & support from Itsy Bitsy will be made available.
  12. The icing on the cake is the pocket friendly price.
The Dream Cut comes with

REMEMBER these points & you can never go wrong with your cutting sandwich
*The white base platform plate 'A' is NOT the cutting surface
*Plate 'C' is thicker than Plates 'B'
*Plates 'B' & 'C' both have bevelled edges
*Both the plates 'B' are of the same thickness
*By using the right combination of the plates 'B' & 'C' most standard dies can be used in the Dream Cut
*When using intricate dies add one or two layers of the accessory cutting pads to act as a shim

Here is a video, an answer to many queries regarding its cutting & embossing feature -

Along with the Dream Cut Itsy Bitsy also introduces 3D dies in four designs to create fun & magical party decor in minutes.

Here are some images of the product launch party decor using these dies -

The Dream Cut is available online (remember it comes with free shipping) & can be purchased here or visit your nearest store.

Altered Accordion Box

Hello crafty folks! Hope you are having a wonderful day ! Today I'm here to share a project  I made for my mom. It is not necessary always to make something special for Mom only on Mother's Day....you can give her something special anytime of the year just to show how much you care and how much she means to you!! This is an altered art project where sweet boxes are converted to an accordion box for safekeeping of all special memories.

Here is the first teaser !

Let me warn you guys that this is a picture heavy post combined with a tutorial.
Its always immense pleasure to be doing a post for my favourite company! They really spoil you with gorgeous supplies !

A foiled sentiment just perfect for the project

Thanks mom for loving us selflessly! Aren't the newly launched chippies super adorable !

How can I finish a project without flowers !

The top view of the project ! All from the same paper pack 'L'amour Des Fleurs'

The back view of the project !

The view of the accordion (I used some flowers and some chain from the stash )

Presenting my gift for Mom!

So without further delay lets begin the tutorial :

Gearing up with the supplies !

I have taken 2 sweet boxes and covered them like we wrap a gift using the specialty linen paper

Added the glittery sheets and started making the layouts . I pasted the cover pic from the paper pack to the 3D frame.

Used the sentiment sheet and made the top, also layered some glittery sheets again .

Now I made the cover I used some die cuts , chippies, flowers to make the layout.

Used the fussy cut and some foiled sentiments too, to finish the cover.

=

Started making the pockets (not any specific measurements but yes remember it totally depends on your boxs measurement )

Make as many as you wish . According to me 10 is a good number.

I used ink to distress the edges.

Scored a long sheet and made fan folds for the accordion structure. To each lift attached tacky tape and secureed each pocket inside it .

The look after attaching the pockets.

Now attached them to the box on both the sides one after the other and we are almost done. You can make inserts too using any sheets of your choice.

Close it using the flower and the chain.

Attach legs on 4 sides and we have our gorgeous box ready !

Hope you enjoyed reading! Thanks for your patience

Love Rashmi

Mdf plaque - Home Decor

Hello Friends ,

I am sharing a creation this week with Gold Alcohol Splash, they make your projects shine out of the ordinary!!!

These colours in spray bottles add a mist of gold along with the hue, every time you use them. Give it a try and showcase your creations in this month's challenge here

Here is how I have used a MDF Plaque to make a home décor for my new home .

I gave the plaque a good quote of Gesso and waited for it to dry !

Then I started spraying the gold alcohol ink and blended it with the sponge till I was happy with the result !

I wanted the galaxy look on the plaque and I was happy with the result

Further gave it a sponge with the bubble wrap to create textures !

Yes I am working with very little stuffs these days and creating wonders !

I have decorated it with a sentiment sicker and further added chipboard embellishment and foil stickers !

My love for stickers and embellishments have just grown too much because of the amazing options Itsy Bitsy is bringing in !!

Its just perfect as I imagined, perfect for our place and we are exploring new possibilities here. Hope to have inspired you to transform ordinary things into pretty stuff with just few craft supplies in hand :)
