Hello everyone, it's Juhi. Today I am sharing a couple of cards I made using my favorite Gold Alcohol Splash inks and Chalk paint.
Here's the first card
I used Snow Chalk paints to add a little texture to my card background. I started by applying Snow Chalk Paint on a piece of Kraft Cardstock through a dotted stencil. Chalk paint is perfect for adding just a little dimension and texture.
Once it was dry I splattered some white paint with a thick round paint brush. I then sprayed Citron Breeze Gold Alcohol Splash followed by Frosted Pool and Midnight Blue Gold Alcohol Splash.
Before the inks completely dried up, I dabbed it with a piece absorbent tissue paper. The tissue paper absorbs some of the color pigments but the gold pigments stay behind, this creates a gorgeous shimmery effect. I then took 2 strips of white cardstock and added some details with a gold marker.
I finally finished the card by adding some lace and foil butterfly stickers. The complete list of supplies used is given at the end of this post.
Here's the second card:
For the second card also I used a Gold Alcohol Splash on Kraft cardstock.
I liberally sprayed 3 colors of Gold Alcohol Splash and let the colors run into one another. I then dabbed randomly with a piece of absorbent tissue paper to remove some pigments.
I then used double sided tacky tape to stick lace and finished the card
